Knees

As we age, skin around the knees can become loose and sag. This is due to collagen and elasticity loss. In addition, fat deposits and dimpling can occur as well.

For non-surgical treatments options, dermal fillers that are biostimulators are often used to improve the skin around the knee. Both Sculptra and Radiesse are most commonly used. They trigger our bodies to produce collagen proteins.

PDO threads are also another treatment option that have hit the market. These threads are made out of the same material as dissolvable sutures. They too induce a high level of collagen production to smooth and tighten the skin.
